We are having our Kindergarten Information Evening in Term 3, Week 2 - 26th July in Mr Edwards' (KE) room. This evening is for parents of children who may be starting kindergarten in 2018.
It's hard to believe, but we already have 19 expressions of interest for 2018, 14 of them girls, which is already more than what we have currently in kindergarten in 2017. We have also had a few out of area families apply for enrolment for 2018.
We are having our Kindergarten Information Evening in Education Week this term (Week 3 - 3rd August) in Mr Edwards' (KE) room. This evening is for parents of children who may be starting kindergarten in 2017.
We are meeting at 5.00pm in the library then moving to Mr E's room for a 5.10pm start. Bring the children along as we will have some teachers supervising the children in the kindergarten room next door.
Please keep that evening free.
We held our annual Kindergarten Information Evening tonight (Wednesday 29th) which was held in KE’s classroom. We had an excellent turn out with many new parents and parents with existing students at our school attending.
A big thanks to all the school staff who volunteered to support and help supervise the children who came with their parents. We couldn’t have this information evening without their support.
Just a reminder that an enrolment pack will be posted out on Friday 7th August to all parents who have expressed a desire to enrol their child for a 2016 start in Kindergarten. This pack will include enrolment forms, Kindergarten orientation session information and school uniform options and pricing.
We ask that orientation and enrolment forms be returned to school by Friday 9th October (but... the earlier the better so that you are more likely to get your choice of enrolment days). This will help us with our orientation organisation and staffing requirements for next year.
If you haven’t contacted the school for enrolment in 2016, please call into the office so that we can update our lists and provide you with your enrolment pack.

We are having our Kindergarten Information Evening in Education Week next term (Week 3 - 29th July) in Mr Edwards' (KE) room. This evening is for parents of children who may be starting kindergarten in 2016.
We are meeting at 5.15pm in the library then moving to Mr E's room for a 5.30pm start. Bring the children along as we will have some teachers supervising the children in the kindergarten room next door.
Please keep that evening free.
We now have currently have 40 expressions of interest for 2016. This is a great start. As we are losing 52 year 6 students at the end of the year to high school, we would like to replace this number with 2016 Kinder children. Ideally we would like 60 Kinders as this would give us 3 straight Kindergarten classes. We now have 2 classes for the new year!
If we are able to get the same number of students we will keep our current class/staff numbers. If we drop, we may go under the magic number of 421 students which would cause our school to lose one of our Assistant Principals. If we drop under 400 we will lose some administration time in the office. We would like to keep all of the above!
As in previous years, we are requesting that parents provide us with details of children starting Kindergarten at the beginning of 2016. To be eligible children must turn five on or before 31st July 2016.
Please call in to the main office, print off the return section in the newsletter, see Mr Edwards or visit the Kindergarten page on our school website and enter your details after clicking on the Expression of Interest link.
If you have already returned forms or submitted an expression of interest, you don't have to do it again.
Mr E is doing his first preschool evening on the 16th June at the Albion Park Early Learning Centre. We also have our Kindergarten Information evening at school on the 29th July. More information to come.
If you know of any families with children in this age bracket for 2016, it would be appreciated if you could share these posts/updates with them. Thank you.
We now have 67 kinders for 2015!
We now have 60 children for next year. That is 3 classes! We'd still love some more.
Just a reminder that we have our Kindergarten Information Evening on Wednesday, 30th July. We are meeting at the Library and moving down to Mr Edwards' Kindergarten room at 5.20pm, ready for a 5.30pm start. While you are waiting you are welcome to have a cuppa and biscuits.
Bring the younger children and supervision will be available in the room next door by some of the teachers. We can't really cater for really young children though. It is only for an hour, and a great chance for next years Kindergarten children to see the rooms and maybe meet some of the other 2015 children. Parents who have heard it all before, it is up to you! But, it is a chance for the children to meet each other before the orientation visits. We are looking forwards to meeting everyone.
